Get the dialer running in 4 steps.
Bookmark this page. Anything that breaks during a shift is probably answered below.
Save the bookmarklet
This installs a one-click "load dialer" button on your browser bar. Without it, the dialer disappears every time the page reloads.
- Make sure your bookmarks bar is showing (Ctrl+Shift+B on Chrome to toggle).
- Right-click the bookmarks bar → Add page…
- Name it:

Open Google Voice
Go to voice.google.com/u/0/calls
Make sure you're signed in with the work account.
Click the bookmarklet
The Ricky Diala panel slides into the corner. You can drag the header to reposition it.
If nothing happens, your bookmarks bar might be hidden or the bookmark URL got mangled — re-paste it from Step 1.
Register your session
The panel asks for three things:
- Agent name — your real first/last name (admin uses this on the dashboard).
- Alias — short handle, letters/digits/dashes only. This is what the dashboard displays.
- Secret key — same one you typed to get into this page.
Once registered, your token is stored locally — you stay signed in across page refreshes (as long as you click the bookmarklet to bring the panel back).
Hotkeys
Configurable in the panel's Keys tab. Defaults below.

Outcome buttons
Tag every call so admin tracks pace and quality. Each outcome hangs up + advances to the next lead.
Double Ring
If a call doesn't pick up, the panel turns the Re-Ring button white (primary). Hitting R immediately re-dials the same number — the second ring within ~30 seconds bypasses Do Not Disturb on most carriers.
Re-Ring once. If the second attempt also misses, tag NO PU or VOICEMAIL and move on. Don't burn the lead.
Audio check
Admin will fire chimes at you for popups and activity checks. Make sure your audio works:
If something breaks
- Page refreshed and the panel disappeared.
- Click your Ricky Diala bookmark. The panel re-injects. Your registration is preserved.
- Calls auto-hang the moment they connect.
- Google Voice is rate-limiting. Tell admin to bump Inter-call delay in Settings (try 5000–8000 ms).
- I clicked Start Queue and nothing happens.
- Check the connection dot at the top of the Queue tab. If it's not green, the WebSocket isn't connected — refresh and click the bookmarklet again.
- Other side can't hear me / I can't hear them.
- Click the lock icon in Chrome's address bar → Microphone → Allow. You may need to reload Google Voice after granting it.
- "Awaiting leads" stays forever.
- Admin hasn't imported leads yet. The panel auto-pulls the moment the queue refills — no action needed on your side.
- I got an "Activity check" prompt.
- Press Space within 30 seconds. Don't ignore it. Repeated misses get flagged on the admin dashboard.
- The panel is in the way of Google Voice's UI.
- Drag the header to reposition, or click the − button to minimize.
- Got a popup from admin.
- Read it, press Enter or click Dismiss. The chime ends with the popup.
